Do you want to start your fly fishing season well in advance and get to experience the incredible river waters of the Spanish Pyrenees in good company and with expert guidance? Join the group travel agency Kon-Tiki Finland and Palkes on a fly fishing trip to northern Spain at the turn of March-April. With us you will get to know the crystal clear mountain rivers, Noguera Pallaresa and Segre, which meander through picturesque small villages and steep cliffs in breathtaking mountain scenery. After the winter, the lowest parts of the river (baixa muntanya) open for fishing on 15.3., so we can start the season almost as soon as it opens.

Noguresa The Pallaresa river is the jewel of Catalonia in the arms of the Pyrenees. The river originates near the French border at an altitude of more than 2000 m and travels down 154 km before joining the Segre and Ebro rivers and flowing into the Mediterranean Sea. Noguera Pallaresa has a very vibrant wild trout population.
Another river we spend our fishing days on is the Segre. It originates in the French Pyrenees and flows from there through Lleida towards the Ebro river. The best and most beautiful areas of Segre are located in its northernmost parts, so that is also our direction. With good luck, the fisherman has the opportunity to catch even 60 cm golden-sided trout on the end of the line here, not forgetting other finned fish in the river, such as the rainbow trout that are well integrated into the river and spawn there.
