The Kuhmo rapids and Lentiira Holiday Village provides a wonderful setting for the summer 2022 fly fishing camps. The camps include fly fishing guiding and teaching, but also the rapids-specific fishing permits, accommodation in cottages for 4 people, breakfasts, lunches, evening food and the possibility of a smoke sauna every evening.
The themes for both camps are: efficient nymph fishing, dry fly fishing and, if desired, also stream fishing. If necessary, we also go through various fly fishing gear, indicators, safe wading in the rapids, fishing techniques and especially reading the rapids.
At the Kuhmo Special Rapids camp, you will fish in private special fishing destinations, e.g. Akonkoski and Kaarneenkoski . Due to the limited number of fishermen on these areas, we can only take 8 participants to this camp. On these rapids, both grayling and trout records are really in danger!
During the Lentiira Fly Fishing workshop, we will get acquainted with e.g. Pajakka-, Saari- , Lentua - and Änättikoski. The possibility to catch a really prosperous grayling or a big trout is very high!

Iijoki Fly Fishing Camp
June 26-29, 2022
As a new camp site for summer 2022, we will bring a 20 km long rapids fishing area on the Iijoki River between the village of Jokijärvi and the town of Taivalkoski. The beautiful scenery of the Iijoki River, the good grayling stock and the diverse rapids are worth experiencing.
In addition to fly fishing guiding and teaching, the camps price includes rapids-specific fishing permits. Our accommodation partner in Taivalkoski is Ruska Bed & Breakfast, whose comfortable apartment hotel offers our guests rooms for 2-3 people with breakfast and evening sauna at a price starting from 30 € / night / person.
